Conference Goals

To bring together policy makers, business leaders and transportation-related providers to:

  1. Learn about the current status of transportation in Alabama as it relates to movement of:
    1. Raw materials
    2. Products
    3. Workforce
    4. Consumers
  2. Learn about successes in other parts of the US that could be models for Alabama on a statewide and regional basis
  3. Learn what is projected for the future in transportation nationally and what technologies are available currently for planning
  4. To determine the relationships needed to develop and implement strategies that will assure a strengthened economy through engagement of Alabamians in a system that uses all transportation related resources in the most efficient, effective ways possible for the benefit of business and all residents of the state.
